Last weekend I had a crazy urge to cook in Romanian. I had a chicken on hand and I made her figure ... A soup, a steak and a pilaf, extraordinarily tasty.
- the back of a chicken and a few strips of diced brisket
- 1 onion
- 1/2 red bell pepper
- 2 potatoes
- 1 carrot
- tomato juice (prepared at home)
- a few sprigs of parsley
Preparation time: less than 90 minutes
RECIPE PREPARATION Chicken soup:
I boiled the chicken in cold water.
I removed the foam (which, of course, didn't have much, so the chicken was quite clean) and after the meat had penetrated a bit, I added onions, carrots, potatoes and diced peppers.
Towards the end I put tomato juice (each one adds to taste, more or less), salt and sprinkled with finely chopped parsley.
I served it in clay pots with pickled hot peppers, homemade bread and a mouthful of brandy ...
