Rich in calories but good for licking your fingers: X


Meat sauce:

  • 2 large onions
  • a little oil (about 2 tablespoons)
  • 2 tablespoons pepper paste (I put the pasta in the jar prepared by my grandmother)
  • 1kg stew meat (pork and beef mix)
  • 2 grated carrots
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)
  • 1 liter broth (if you have ketchup prepared at home you can put 500 mil broth and 500 ml ketchup)
  • spices (oregano, basil, cloves)

White sauce:

  • 100 gr butter
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 800 ml milk
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • salt, pepper (to taste)
  • 70 gr grated cheese
  • a box of lasagna sheets

Method of preparation

Meat sauce:

In a saucepan, fry the onion (finely chopped) with the pepper paste and then add the minced meat. Stir constantly so that it does not stick. After the meat has a light color, pour the broth and add salt, pepper and grated carrot. Let it boil for about 30 minutes. Season with oregano, basil and cloves and leave on the fire for another 10 minutes.

White sauce:

Melt the butter in a saucepan and then gradually add the flour and stir all the time. Then add the milk little by little, stirring constantly so as not to become lumpy. Add the crushed garlic, salt and pepper. After it starts to boil, add the grated cheese and leave it on the fire until the composition thickens, stirring constantly.


On the bottom of the tray put a baking sheet that is greased with a little meat sauce or a little broth. Then place a row of lasagna pasta. Pour a layer of meat sauce over them, and pour a layer of white sauce over it, and then scrape a layer of cheese. Repeat the operation for each layer. At the end, pour a little broth (or homemade ketchup) on the edge of the tray, and grate the cheese on top (the more cheese the better the lasagna).

Cover the tray with a foil and leave it in the oven for 25 minutes, then take the foil and leave it for another 15 minutes.
