Get your head in the game with these songs that are sure to amp you up

Thinkstock/Robert Deutschman

Week after week, win or lose, we’ve been watching our teams fight to reach the top of their conferences. Super Bowl XLVII.

This playlist will bring out your inner football player. Whether they're pop, rock, or country, these songs will make you want to get off your butt and onto the football field. (Or, they may just make you want to dance during the commercial breaks, which I plan on doing.)

Either way, you will be on your feet, making it that much easier for you to grab that next beer or those warm pigs in a blanket. So get ready for this heavy mix because the beats are up, the rock is hard, and the game is on.

Take a listen to our Adults Super Bowl playlist on Spotify.

29 Sliders Recipes For The Super Bowl

Sports-watching and burger-eating go together like peas and carrots. But burgers are big and messy, which can distract from the sports-watching experience. Enter: sliders. Because the only thing better than a burger is several tiny burgers.

With the Super Bowl less than a week away, we're focusing all our attention on what we'll be eating on the big day. We're thinking about hand-held dessert recipes that you can easily eat on the couch, and a slew of ways to enjoy chips and queso, obviously. There will be wings, nachos, and of course, there will be sliders. Many, many sliders -- because that's the beauty of these mini burgers, after all. You can eat a lot of them. From beef to salmon to mushroom sliders, we've gathered up 29 slider recipes that should please any palate.

Check out these sliders recipe and get really excited for the big event on Sunday: Eating.

Cranberry Fresh Punch

When the holidays roll around, you'll want to serve a special punch that celebrates the season. The cranberry fresh punch should do just fine. It features a berry-dominant gin, cranberry juice, and allspice dram for a winter-worthy mix.

The 25 Best Appetizers From Costco

Your Super Bowl viewing party needs these panko shrimp, OK?

For most people, Super Bowl Sunday is all about football. I, on the other hand, am willing to admit that I care very little about the San Francisco 49ers or the Kansas City Chiefs, and am way more interested in what’s on the menu for this Super Bowl LIV. Typically, Super Bowl spreads are all about comfort food and finger food options, and the Super Bowl appetizers at Costco are a must. Whether you’re hosting a party and looking at approximately four hours of non-stop snacking and eating from your guests, or having a virtual get-together with your own plate of food, you'll want to have a spread full of variety and flavor.

If and when the zombie apocalypse happens, I'm going to do my best to get my family to Costco. I'm pretty sure we could live there for a few decades, because each store contains an absurd amount of food and everything comes in one size: enormous. Thankfully, the quality usually matches up with the quantity, and you get a lot of bang for your buck.

Add a few of these items to your shopping list on your next Costco run, and I'm very confident your Super Bowl party will be a smash. Prices may vary depending on location, and if you use a delivery service like Instacart.

6. Play Football!

A long football game where kids have no vested interest (either because their team’s not in it this year or they just don’t love sitting for a long time watching) means heading outside to get out pent up energy is always a good idea. Why not play football? It’s what we’re all here for! Break the kids and adults into teams and go head to head in some friendly scrimmages. TOUCHDOWN!
