Making these cookies was a real adventure. The whole family worked for them, maybe that's why they came out so tender and good. :) The dough is put in the meat grinder, to which is attached a device through which these biscuits are made. All good and beautiful, I brought my 100-year-old device from my mother, I made the dough and ... the surprise! It does not match. OK, and now what do I do? I could spread out the sheet, cut out the shapes, but ... we wanted crackers. My husband actually wanted him to be dry, me more with cakes, savarines, creams, creams, froths. :)
Well, if he wants cookies, switch to the machine. He was holding the thing tightly to the grinder :) Alex was turning the crank and I was putting the biscuits in the tray. Uncle fun, because it created a pressure and the dough came out everywhere, next to the device, only where it should not come out. So, for now, until I find another car or another device, I give up cookies. :) Let's move on to the recipe (also from my mother, but adapted, modified to my taste, because I don't use lard).

Soft sprite cookies without sugar

You already know that I am a fan of homemade biscuits, the collection of R etete with biscuits and cookies and I give myself away anyway, so I completed the collection with some soft, witty and sugar-free biscuits. Since we were little we really liked the cookies made by my mother, and December was clearly the month in which we made them most often. It's the same for me now, except that I make them now :).

And because I personally am delighted that there is a sugar substitute based on stevia, I leave you here some important information about this product:

Sweeten Stevia powder 1: 1

& # 8222Sweetens natural and non-caloric cakes or beverages (hot or cold). Stable when baked, boiled or frozen. It does not ferment. Sweetening power equal to that of sugar. Zero calories and glycemic index. Recommended in diets and for diabetics (on a balanced diet) or with phenylketonuria.

No genetically modified raw materials.

WAY OF USSAGE: natural and non-caloric substitute for sugar. 1 teaspoon EDULCOREM STEVIA powder 1: 1 = 1 teaspoon sugar. & # 8221

Spirited biscuits

One question, if I don't have a car, what can I do with it?

Augusta Sim, July 3, 2014

Thank you, Daniela Mocean, I haven't made any of these cookies before, but I will make them according to this recipe and I will fully respect the ingredients. In the picture it looks very good and I don't see why it shouldn't come out for me too :)

Daniela Mocean, July 3, 2014

Augusta Sim, this is cut with butter. I repeat, of course there are more recipes, it is natural. I don't dispute the one with lard, but, to be given to children, easier with lard. Any recipe with lard also needs something else, probably sour cream, so if you want to make them with lard, you have to look for a recipe. adequate, it is not enough to replace the butter with lard.

Augusta Sim, July 3, 2014

Is the same amount of lard used as butter?

I also made it last night, but I put margarine and sour cream. They came out very good. I think everyone does what they have, the important thing is that they are easy to make, you don't need too many ingredients. I made it a long time ago and without an egg.

How to prepare homemade crackers with lard or butter & # 8211 very fragile

Beat the butter (or lard) well with the sugar, then add the eggs and the rest of the ingredients, finally the flour. A compact, soft dough is formed, like plasticine.

How to make crackers with a meat grinder or by hand?

In the meat grinder, the desired form of spirit is mounted and biscuits are made. With the hand it is easy to use the exit to be of the same thickness and not to stretch.

They can be made cylindrical or wider. They can also be shaped by hand if you don't have a spirit.

Place in trays lined with baking paper.

Bake homemade cookies

Bake the baked biscuits for about 15-20 minutes at 170C (medium stage for those with gas), until they become only slightly golden.

They can be glazed with chocolate, sprinkled with hazelnuts, according to everyone's desire and imagination. They taste good in butter, vanilla and lemon! Store well in tightly closed boxes.

While they are hot, they can be rolled in vanilla powdered sugar.

These homemade biscuits, with butter and vanilla, are wonderful with a cup of milk, cocoa or tea!

I also recommend the cookies spread with walnuts, hazelnuts and butter & # 8211 recipe here.

Sprite Biscuits

From the above ingredients, a suitable dough is made, neither too soft nor too hard, the shape of biscuits is adapted to the meat machine, and the biscuits are made.

Put in the tray (do not grease the tray). Bake for 20-25 minutes.

In order to be tastier, they are given through the icing.

Sprite Biscuits

When I have a craving for something sweet, easy and fast I prepare these fragrant biscuits… In a larger bowl

Spirited biscuits

Beat the butter with the sugar until the crystals melt. Add the other ingredients and knead a thick dough (if necessary, mix with a little sour cream). Cover with aluminum foil and leave in the fridge for at least 12 hours.

Preheat the oven to high heat. We pass strips of dough through the mincer, using the special device for sprite. We can leave the classic shape of the cookies or give free rein to our creativity. Place in the pan (ungreased and uncoated!) And bake for about 20 minutes. After cooling we can decorate or serve as such.

Tip: the longer this dough stays in the fridge, the more tender the consistency of these biscuits becomes.

Decorating ideas: you can give a noble air to these seemingly "banal" cookies, if, in addition to the traditional longitudinal shapes, form circles, spirals ("s" shaped), small bouquets or pyramids. For garnishing, you can use dark and / or white chocolate icing, candied or jam fruit, almond flakes or half-roasted walnuts, white lemon icing (powdered sugar mixed with lemon juice), coconut flakes or grated chocolate. You can't go wrong!

Recommendation: these cookies are stored for a long time (up to 1-2 weeks) if they are stored in metal or porcelain boxes, protected from excessive heat and humidity.

Spirited cookies with lard childhood recipe

Spirits with lard are the childhood cookies our mothers made in the meat grinder. All the housewives were shaped in a drawer. If we were good, maybe they would let us help. As much as we could, because we never managed to break them all the same.

.

Method of preparation

The preparation is very simple. Melted butter or lard is mixed with sugar, over which eggs and other ingredients are added. Mix well until you get a dough like plasticine.

To make the biscuit shape you need a mincer. Don't worry if you don't have one! The dough is very easy to shape and you can make absolutely any shape you want. They will come out just as frayed, regardless of shape.

Place the biscuits in the trays and put them in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, at 170 degrees, until golden. Then powder with sugar or chocolate.

The good part is that the sprinkled biscuits are kept for several days in hermetically sealed boxes. Good appetite!

What ingredients do we use for the recipe for crackers, butter biscuits, lard and cocoa?

  • 150 g of powdered sugar
  • 450 g of flour
  • 50 g of cocoa
  • 125 g of butter
  • 125 g of lard
  • 1 or
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • rum or brandy
  • a teaspoon of baking soda
  • vinegar or lemon juice

How do we prepare the recipe for spirits, biscuits with butter, lard and cocoa?

You can read the written recipe, or go directly to the video recipe, below.

  1. Pour the butter and lard into a bowl, kept at room temperature, mix them very well using a whisk.
  2. Add the powdered sugar and mix again to dissolve the sugar. Now add the egg and continue to mix.
  3. Put the rum and baking soda, which we extinguish with vinegar or lemon juice, continue to mix everything well, then add cocoa.
  4. Mix until you get a beautiful, fine, frothy cream.
  5. Add the flour little by little and knead the dough by hand, lightly and carefully, do not knead it too much, so that it does not gum.
  6. Cover the dough obtained with foil and put it in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
  7. After the dough has rested, we start making the biscuits using the mincer and the shapes of the mincer. I recommend you to use the star shape, the biscuits will be more attractive and a little bigger than if we used the other shapes.
  8. Place the biscuits in a tray lined with baking paper and put them in the oven at a temperature of 200-220 degrees Celsius for up to 10 minutes. Bake the crackers very quickly.
  9. Be careful not to remove them from the pan when they are still hot, as they break easily. After cooling, they can be easily removed from the tray.

Gina's advice:

If you want them to be less tender, add another 1 egg and 1-2 tablespoons of flour.

They can be glazed with white or dark chocolate, and the visual effect will be wow!
