Nectarine halves are topped with sugar and cooked until caramelised. Serve with a dollop of yogurt for a simple and fresh dessert.

- 1 nectarine
- 2 tablespoons caster sugar, or to taste
- 2 tablespoons plain yogurt

- Cut nectarine all the way around and twist open. Remove stone. Sprinkle sugar on the cut side of each nectarine half.
- Place nectarine, cut-side down, onto a griddle pan or in a non-stick pan over medium heat; cook for 1 1/2 minutes. Transfer nectarine to a plate, cut-side up, and top each half with plain yogurt.

This was really a different and fun way to have a healthy dessert. I didn't use as much sugar as called for and I did dust with a little cinnamon. I used greek yogurt so it would hod up and not be so runny.-18 Aug 2016

Simply and straight forward and down right delicious. I do think vanilla yogurt would have paired nicely with the nectarine without overpowering and I plan to try that next time.-02 Jul 2016
