I saw Ina's post with this recipe and I listed it. She tried the recipe from Timea. Then Simona did it and they looked so good that I couldn't resist. Thanks Timea, Ina, Simona for the recipe.
- 250 gr frame with butter or butter
- 150 gr powdered sugar
- 2 eggs
- grated peel of a lemon
- the juice of a lemon
- 450 gr flour
- 1 sachet of baking powder
- 1 tablespoon orange blossom water
- Extra: 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
Preparation time: less than 60 minutes
RECIPE PREPARATION Lemon cookies:
Mix margarine or butter with sugar until it looks like foam. It won't take very long because we need margarine at room temperature and powdered sugar. We add the two eggs one at a time, mixing after each one. Add lemon peel and juice and orange blossom water. Add flour previously mixed with baking powder. Depending on the consistency of the dough, add another 50 gr of flour if it is too soft.
Put the dough in a plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Prepare a tray and turn the oven to 180 degrees.
From the dough taken out of the fridge, form round cookies the size of a walnut. We put each one in powdered sugar and place them in the tray with space between them.
Put the tray in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.
Leave them to cool and place them in hermetically sealed metal boxes. The longer they stay, the more tender and good they will be.
